In the context of the 16 days of activism for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls, 122 young individuals actively participated in a valuable initiative promoted by the International Organization for Migration's (IOM) Scholarship Project for Educational Opportunities. During this event, participants gained crucial knowledge by learning to identify signs of gender-based violence. The primary purpose of this activity was to foster awareness among young people about this issue, encouraging them emphatically to reject such behaviors and guiding them towards specialized institutions that provide comprehensive care for women and girls. This impactful activity took place at the Catholic University of El Salvador (Unicaes) in Ilobasco, underscoring the collective commitment in the fight against gender-based violence.
